Aussie Rises Following RBA Rate Decision

(RTTNews) - As widely expected, the Reserve Bank of Australia slashed interest rates by 25 basis points to 3.00 percent in the Asian session on Tuesday at 10:30 pm ET. Following the announcement, the aussie climbed against other major currencies.

The aussie is now worth 1.0451 against the greenback, 85.81 against the yen, 1.2726 against the NZ dollar and 1.2499 against the euro.
