Canadian Dollar Falls Against Majors

(RTTNews) - The Canadian dollar trimmed its early gains in European deals on Monday, as oil prices resumed fall amid fears of a supply glut.

Crude for February delivery is now trading at $0.28 to $56.85 per barrel.

The loonie hit a 4-day low of 1.1640 against the greenback, off early high of 1.1577.

The loonie reached as low as 1.4268 against the euro and 0.9473 against the aussie, retreating from an early high of 1.4179 and near a 1-year high of 0.9433, respectively.

The loonie eased from an early 11-day high of 103.47 against the yen, inching down to 102.99.

The next possible support for the loonie is seen around 1.18 against the greenback, 102.55 against the yen, 1.45 against the euro and 0.955 against the aussie.
