Yen Strengthens Against Majors

(RTTNews) - The Japanese yen spiked up against other major currencies in European deals on Wednesday.

The yen approached a 2-day high of 87.78 against the kiwi, new 3-week high of 94.83 against the aussie and a 6-day high of 171.52 against the pound, bouncing off from early multi-day low of 88.48, multi-week lows of 96.25 and 172.80, respectively.

The yen hit 6-day highs of 102.19 against the greenback and 92.60 against the loonie, off early lows of 102.70 and 93.12, respectively. The yen rose back to 141.39 against the euro, recovering from an multi-week low of 142.00.

The yen recovered against the franc with pair trading around 115.98, off early multi-day low of 116.30.
