Colorado State University scholarship
committee selected Miriam Wagoner to
be the first annual recipient of the Cornerstone Home Lending, Inc.
Scholarship. Miriam and Cornerstone Home Lending were celebrated at
the Colorado State University College
of Business 2016 Scholarship luncheon held at The Lory Student
Center at CSU.
A native to Longmont, Colorado,
Miriam is a senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business
Administration with a concentration in Corporate Finance. She is on
the Dean's List and recently became the New Venture Chair for the
Dean's Student Leadership Council. She also serves on the College
of Business Mentoring Program to help incoming freshman of ethnic
backgrounds navigate college. "I work very hard and campus outreach
is also a high priority," states Miriam. "Because of this
scholarship, I am able to focus more of my time and energy on my
studies and university involvement."
After Miriam graduates in May
2017, she hopes to find a job that puts to use her finance
and analytical skills. She desires to work for a large corporation
in a position that includes travel around the word.
