LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Mecom Group Plc. said its Netherlands-based
Koninklijke Wegener NV unit is in talks with PCM Uitgevers BV (PCM) to sell its
37 percent shareholding in ADNieuwsMedia BV to PCM.
Wegener is also in talks to acquire PCM Lokale Media BV.
Both transactions will be subject, among other things, to the agreement of
binding sale and purchase documentation and approval from the Dutch competition
authority, the European newspaper publisher said.
