Progressive Phone Company CREDO Mobile To Include Calls To Mexico
And Canada In All Voice Plans At No Extra Charge
SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- In keeping with
its progressive values, CREDO Mobile announced today that calls
made from the U.S. to Mexico and
Canada will be included in all
voice plans at no extra charge starting mid-November. Since its
start, CREDO Mobile has donated more than $70M in revenue to fund progressive nonprofits,
and this year launched a massive grassroots campaign to defeat 11
of the most extreme Tea Party Republicans in Congress.

Rather than requiring customers to discover the new plans and
opt in individually as most traditional telecom companies do, CREDO
will automatically include the new calling benefit in voice plans
for existing customers. New customers will also be able to choose
this option for free when they sign up. Customers who make calls
from the U.S. to any phone number in Mexico and Canada will simply see the minutes deducted
from their existing plan without additional fees or international
long distance charges. Standard overage charges will apply once
customers have used all of their monthly minutes.
