today that it has hired 18 Investment Representatives in the Wealth
and Investment Management division, in eight of its offices across
the US.

New York
Tom Dexter joins Barclays
as a Director from Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he served
high net worth individuals, corporate executives, partnerships, and
foundations. Prior to joining Bank of America Merrill Lynch in
2008, Mr. Dexter spent four years at Lehman Brothers as an
Investment Representative. Previously, he worked as a Financial
Advisor at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management and Friedman, Billings,
Ramsey & Co. Mr. Dexter holds a BA from The College of William & Mary and an MBA from
George Mason University. Mr. Dexter is a Trustee and
Executive Committee member of The College of
William & Mary Foundation.
Brett Fleckman joins
Barclays as a Director from J.P. Morgan Private Bank, where he
focused on customized financial solutions for high net worth
individuals. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2010, Mr. Fleckman was
the New York Branch Manager for
the Private Client business at Thomas Weisel Partners, and
previously a Financial Advisor at Alliance Bernstein. He holds a BA
from Syracuse University and is on the
Planned Giving Committee of the NY Presbyterian Hospital Group.
Mark O'Shea joins Barclays as an Assistant Vice President
from Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, where he advised high net
worth individuals and families as part of the Moldaver 80 Group.
Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. O'Shea worked on the trading
floor of the New York Stock Exchange managing the daily order flow
for several investment banks and hedge funds. He holds a BA from
Rowan University.
In addition to Mr. Dexter, Mr. Fleckman and Mr. O'Shea, Barclays
announced on September 5, 2012, that
Edward Moldaver joined as a Managing Director from Morgan
Stanley Wealth Management. Previously, he was a Senior Managing
Director at Bear Stearns' Private Wealth Client Services Group. He
holds a BS from Widener University and
has completed his Certified Portfolio Manager® (CPM®) certification
sponsored by the Academy of Certified Portfolio Managers® (ACPM®)
and Columbia University. Mr. Moldaver
is the Treasurer and a member of the Board of Trustees for the
Guardian Angels, a non-profit international volunteer
organization.

Jonathan Bates joins
Barclays as a Director from J.P. Morgan where he specialized in
municipal bonds, working with high net worth individuals and middle
market institutions. Prior to joining JP Morgan in 2009, Mr. Bates
worked at Citigroup in the Institutional Fixed Income Group for
seven years and at U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray Inc. for eight years.
He holds a BBA from the University of
Texas at Austin.

San Francisco
Hugh Beecher joins
Barclays as a Director from Credit Suisse's Private Banking
division where he served high net worth individuals and families.
Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Mr. Beecher worked in the Equities
division of Goldman Sachs and also founded Beecher Investment
Management. Mr. Beecher holds a BS in Economics and an MBA
from Brigham Young University.

Patrick Delahunty joins
Barclays as a Director from J.P. Morgan Private Bank where, as a
Senior Private Banker, he focused on advising high net worth
individuals, families, business owners, institutions and endowments

management needs. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2008, Mr.
Delahunty worked at Alliance Bernstein. He holds a BS from
Bentley College and serves on the
Professional Advisors Committee for the Boston Foundation.
Timothy King joins
Barclays as a Director from J.P. Morgan Private Bank where he
worked as an Investment team leader, with high net worth
individuals, families, public and private institutions, corporate
executives, and business owners. Prior to working in private
banking, Mr. King spent 10 years with JP Morgan Asset Management
advising financial intermediaries and their clients. Mr. King
started his career in the finance industry in 1994 with Eaton Vance
Corporation based in Boston. He

Tim Humphrey, CFA joins
Barclays as an Assistant Vice President from J.P. Morgan Private
Bank, which he joined in 2008. In his role as Investment Associate
he worked with high net worth individuals and families to serve

St. Michael's College and is a CFA

Brian Kelly, CFA joins
Barclays as an Assistant Vice President from J.P. Morgan Private
Bank which he joined in 2007. In his role as an Investment
Associate, he worked with high net worth individuals and families
to meet their wealth management objectives. Mr. Kelly holds a BA
from the College of the Holy Cross and
is a CFA charterholder. He serves on The Friends Council Leadership

Noble Nash joins Barclays
as a Director from Credit Suisse's Private banking division where
he served high net worth families and institutions since 2000. Mr.
Nash was a Director at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette Securities from 1998 –
2000, before it was acquired by Credit Suisse. Previously, he was a
Certified Public Accountant with Deloitte
Haskins and Sells. Mr. Nash holds a BBA from the
University of Texas and an MBA from
Southern Methodist University.
Mike Whorton joins
Barclays as a Director from Credit Suisse's Private Banking
division which he joined in 2000. Mr. Whorton was a Vice President
in the Investment Services Group of Donaldson, Lufkin &
Jenrette Securities from 1993 – 2000, before it was acquired by
Credit Suisse. Mr. Whorton holds a BA from Washington & Lee University.
Chris Boley joins Barclays
as a Vice President from Credit Suisse's Private Banking division,

Scott Macolino joins
Barclays as a Director from SunTrust Investment Services where, as

Consultant at Merrill Lynch for ten years. He holds a BS from the

Carlos Gallo joins
