General Dynamics Awarded Major U.S Army Sustainment Command
Logistics Contract
FAIRFAX, Va., Dec. 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- General Dynamics
(NYSE: GD) has been awarded a contract to support the U.S. Army
Sustainment Command's Enhanced Army Global Logistics Enterprise
(EAGLE) program. The multiple-award Basic Ordering Agreement
has a potential value of $23 billion
to all 96 awardees over five years. Work will be performed at Army
installations worldwide.
Through the EAGLE contract General Dynamics will deliver
maintenance, supply and transportation-operations support services
to meet the Army's global logistics service requirements. The
company may provide materiel maintenance, supply and transportation
services that support the redeployment and readiness of Army
forces.
