approach to liposuction, is pleased to announce that Peter C. Farrell, PhD, DSc, AM, has joined its
Business Advisory Board. Dr. Farrell is founder and chairman
of the board of ResMed, director of NuVasive, Inc. and
non-executive chair of QRxPharma. He is a Fellow or Honorary Fellow
of several professional bodies, including the Australian Academy of
Technological Sciences and Engineering. He has served as vice
president of research and development at various subsidiaries of
Baxter Healthcare as well as managing director of the Baxter Center
for Medical Research. Dr. Farrell also serves on faculty
Advisory Boards at UCSD: the Rady Business School, the Jacobs
Engineering School and Health Sciences. He holds a B.E. in chemical
engineering with honors from the University of
Sydney, an S.M. in chemical engineering from the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
