(NYSE:SUNE), the world's largest renewable energy development company, today announced that Pashupathy Gopalan, SunEdison's president of Asia-Pacific and Sub-Saharan Africa, was awarded the Solar Power Person of the Year during the Renewable World International Convention in Delhi, India. The award recognizes Mr. Gopalan and SunEdison's work in setting the pace and scale of the solar industry in India over the last year.
