Dollar Steady Ahead Of U.S. Consumer Confidence Index

The Conference Board is due to release consumer confidence index
for July at 10:00 am ET Tuesday. Before the data, the greenback
held steady against its major rivals.
The greenback was valued at 1.5588 against the pound, 123.65
against the yen, 1.1036 against the euro and 0.9650 against the
franc as of 9:55 am ET.
