FORT COLLINS, Colo.,
April 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/
-- OtterBox brings designer style to life with the newest
Symmetry Series patterns, designed in collaboration with
fashion-forward reality show Project Runway All Stars.
OtterBox partnered with Project Runway All Stars for a design
challenge presented on the April 28
episode. Designers competed to create a signature look that brought
together high-fashion design with high-tech protection in the Print
on Print Challenge, an homage to the intersection of technology and
fashion. Philadelphia-based
designer Dom Streater won the challenge and the opportunity to work
with OtterBox on her very own Symmetry Series case design.
"I remember seeing the other contestants' and when Dom's came
out, she was the natural winner for me and for OtterBox," said
Project Runway All Stars guest judge Nina
Garcia. "The graphics, the color and the personality of the
protective case says so much about your personality and your
personal style."
For the challenge, Streater designed two prints that worked
together to walk down the runway. The Symmetry Series case graphics
are based on two of Streater's favorite original prints.
"It was such a thrill to win the challenge. I feel like it was
tailor-made for me," Streater said. "Phone cases are a natural
accessory, it just worked so well and I had a lot of fun working
with OtterBox."
Symmetry Series helps keep smartphones safe from bumps, shock
and scratches in a super slim, sleek form.1 The case
combines style and OtterBox Certified Drop+ Protection with
wraparound graphics that provide visual appeal from every
angle.
