Welltower and its partners and operators have raised more than $3 million for the Alzheimer's Association, including more than $250,000 by Welltower employees and a $250,000 grant from the Welltower Foundation.

Welltower's Chief Executive Officer Thomas J. DeRosa will be recognized as the Alzheimer's Association National Honoree at tonight's Brain Ball in Washington, D.C. The annual event elevates the profile of Alzheimer's disease and its impact on families and raises funds for research and critical support services for individuals, families and caregivers facing the daily challenges of the disease.

DeRosa, whose father died of complications from Alzheimer's, is committed to advancing memory care and connectivity across the health care continuum to provide quality of life and dignity for people living with dementia.
