HOUSTON, May 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Petroleum Network Education Conferences (PNEC) International Conference on Petroleum Data Integration, Information and Data Management announces two 2016 Philip C. Crouse Cornerstone Award recipients: Cindy Cummings, Exploration Technical Services, Repsol; and Ray Wall, Global Chief, E&P Technical Data, ConocoPhillips. The award recognizes distinguished contributions in the application of technical data and information principles, and achievements in or contributions to the advancement of upstream petroleum data and information management as a profession and a craft.  The Cornerstone and Stewart McAdoo Awards were initiated in 2006 for the 10th anniversary of the conference. The Stewart McAdoo Award is given in five year increments for the promotion of quality, technology, and management developments.  This year's recipients are Eric Toogood, Manager of DISKOS, Norwegian National Data Repository (NDR); and Scott Schneider, who has worked for companies such as Sierra Geophysics, Landmark Graphics, Tobin International and Idea Integration. Mara Abel, Professor, Federal University of Health Sciences of Porto Alegra (UFRGS), was awarded the Star of Conference Award, which recognizes an outstanding delegate based on their insightful input and direction in the on-site conference discussions. This award was determined by former recipients while at the event.

The 20^th International Conference on Petroleum Data Integration, Information and Data Management took place in Houston, Texas from May 17-19, 2016, at the Marriott Westchase Hotel and attracted nearly 600 oil and gas industry professionals from 24 countries.
