Pound Eases Following U.K. Manufacturing PMI

After the release of U.K. manufacturing PMI data for July at
4:30 am ET Friday, the pound retreated from early highs against its
major counterparts.
The pound was trading at 0.8362 against the euro, 1.3183 against
the greenback, 139.70 against the yen and 1.2993 against the franc
around 4:32 am ET.
