Euro Mixed Ahead Of Eurozone Economic Confidence Index

At 5:00 am ET Tuesday, the European Commission is slated to
publish euro area economic confidence survey results. The economic
sentiment index is seen at 104.1 in August versus 104.6 in
July.
Ahead of the data, the euro showed mixed trading against its
major rivals. While the euro eased against the franc and the
greenback, it recovered from early lows against the pound and the
yen.
The euro was worth 1.1169 against the greenback, 114.30 against
the yen, 1.0941 against the franc and 0.8548 against the pound as
of 4:55 am ET.
